Current And Former Killswitch Engage Vocalists Record Duet For New Album
Jesse Leach and Howard Jones, the current and former vocalists of Killswitch Engage respectively, have recorded a duet for the band’s new album. This was revealed through Jesse Leach’s Instagram account, which was then reposted by the band. As of this writing a release date has not yet been given, although last September the band announced that they would be dropping new music sometime this year.

As Metalsucks points out, this isn’t the first time the two vocalists collaborated on a KSE track. Leach, who is the original vocalist of the band, guested on the songs “Take This Oath” and “Irreversal” from the 2004 album “The End Of Heartache.” During this time, Leach had already left. “The End Of Heartache” is their third studio album, and is the first to feature Jones on lead vocals. Leach later returned to the band in 2012. A year later they released “Disarm The Descent.” He has been with the band ever since, with 2016’s “Incarnate” (released via Roadrunner) being their latest album.
