Pinegrove Share New Track 'Intrepid'

After spending the past six months recording and mixing new music, Pinegrove now shares a brand new track to tide us over while we wait for the follow-up release to their 2016 breakthrough album ‘Cardinal’.

“We don't have any more official info to give you on those recordings right now but we can tell you that they are finished and ready and we are really proud and as a celebration we are releasing one song. It's called intrepid. Hope u enjoy,” says the New Jersey act.

Listen to “Intrepid”:

A new Pinegrove album is slated for release in 2018. Lead vocalist/guitarist Ethan Stephens Hall says, “One of the things this album explores is the emotional and creative experience of geometric space… 'Intrepid,' in particular, considers distance and the outer rim of the magnet's pull; how the size of the world can bring our personal relationships into focus.”

The release of “Intrepid” came with the announcement of two upcoming tours in March 2018—in UK/Europe (with support from Phoebe Bridgers) and a couple of dates in Australia.
