In a new interview with R7 POP, Slayer guitarist Kerry King spoke out about the next Slayer album and what he misses the most about his fellow axeman, the deceased Jeff Hanneman.

In the interview, he says that they already “had tons of material [already written for ‘Repentless’]. We still have like six or eight songs left over that may find their way onto the next album.”

About Hannemen, he says, “the hardest part [about losing Hanneman as a collaborator] for me was just [losing] his opinion in the studio. [inaudible] to bounce ideas off of… I always have. So I had to do all that myself.”

The interview doesn’t have the best audio quality, but it is at least audible. Watch it below”
