Local post/math-rock kids Comic have just released a music video for their song “Box Office.” About the lyrics, the band wrote this on their Facebook page:

“Box Office is a song for those stuck at their day jobs, stuck with their routines, stuck in finding the joy they once held onto for dear life back when they were still naive kids. This is a song for those who are stuck in their own box offices, may you eventually get out of there, just get out there!”

The band also gave a shout out to Ruth Veluz, Leandre Grecia, and Jan Carlo Castro. Although they didn’t make it clear what their roles exactly were, the band stated that they’re “the unsung heroes beyond this awesome music video!”

The track was recorded, mixed, and mastered at Milkhouse Productions. Check out “Box Office” below:

Originally Enrico Blanco and then League of Shadows, Comic was formed in 2014. You can check out more of their stuff over at their Soundcloud. Also, follow them on Facebook for more updates.
