Dave Mustaine is in the Studio with Joey Jordison for Vimic
Vimic, Joey Jordison’s latest band after Scar the Martyr, is currently in the studio recording their debut album “Open Your Omen,” and they’ve recruited Dave Mustaine of thrash legends Megadeth to help out in the studio. This was revealed through a photo posted on Vimic’s Facebook page with the caption “A few final touches.”
Mustaine also shared a photo of their time at the studio:
The band has yet to reveal an exact release date for the album (slated for release this year), but judging by that post, it looks like we won’t have to wait that much longer.
Aside from Joey Jordison, Vimic also features Jed Simon (ex-Strapping Young Lad), Kalen Chase (ex-Korn), Kyle Konkiel (ex-In This Moment), Matthew Tarach (ex-Scar the Martyr), and Steve Marshall. To get a taste of the album, check out the band’s single “My Fate” below:
