PULP explores the dark depths of PLAZMA THE DEMENTED and the rest of MURDERDEATHKILL (MDK).
“Let the planet feel my WRATH through my VENOMous pages Experience MEGADETH once you’re ENTOMBED in an IRON MAIDEN You’re a CANNIBAL CORPSE eaten by a MORBID ANGEL”
- “Rise of the Impaler”
Plazma
“I couldn’t remember exactly but I believe metal was the first genre that I got hooked on,” narrates Plazma (which stands for “Perverse Lyrics and Zealous, Malevolent Attitude”) The Demented on his musical beginnings. “METALLICA‘s Black Album was my first tape then one day I saw WU-TANG CLAN’s ‘Triumph’ on MTV. MTV was good back then. Eventually I got hooked on rap. Metal definitely plays a big part in my writing style, hmm, think Corpsegrinder Fisher of Cannibal Corpse raping. Hehe”
And with Plazma eventually met likeminded rappers and MurderDeathKill (MDK) was born. MDK is an art-core rap collective comprised of Plazma, CIRCARDIAN RHYTHM (GOD, DEM and DEFCON), REDRUM, LIBS, AKLAS a.k.a ABSTRUSE, CLEAVE HECKLER (formerly known as TIM), SIX THE NORTHSTAR, FRED SANDOVAL and IRON. Their brand of rap music is definitely no booty club muzak, as they deal with dark lyrics bordering on the intellectual the dark and the morbid. No wonder they have an affinity with metal music. BADBURN’s Marben Romero even includes them regularly in his Throwdown events at HADES and TEN02.
