V What's Up on PULP?» Updates, blog, and anything else PULP - in your face!

We're halfway through the week! New tunes, anyone? This week on #FreshlySqueezed 🍊—Chicosci, Two Hit Combo, Unique, Karencitta, Bawal Clan, All Time Low, The Maine, As It Is, You Me At Six, Crystal Lake AND MORE! Sounds like a good, diverse mix if you ask us. And hopefully there’s a little something in here for everybody!

CHICOSCI | “Revalation!”

Here comes the noise—the follow up to last year’s “Buzzin’” has now been unveiled by Chicosci via Tower Of Doom!

Once again, the band enlisted Kevin Mayuga for the visual. Mayuga also worked on the band’s previous video for “Buzzin!”

Check out the new music video below. This new track’s out to shake up the world.

LOSTTHREADS | “Fourth Circle”

Not long after they dropped their impressive new album, LOSTTHREADS are keeping their momentum alive with the release of a new music video.

This is the revolution. Watch the brutal, blistering music video below:

The band has just kicked off their album tour in support of Aftermath last Saturday, August 18, in Cavite. Watch out for the coverage of the tour on PULP Magazine.

Two Hit Combo has released their much-awaited EP In Stereo. Launched last August 2 at SaGuijo, the EP was created with Shinji Tanaka and Raymund Marasigan, and features the single “The Shakes.”

Two Hit Combo talks about In Stereo in PULP Magazine’s latest issue, Issue No. 197 (September - October 2018), where the duo talked about the making of their new release.

Our favorite tracks? We love all of them but check out “The Shakes” and the last track “Tokyo”!

UNIQUE | Grandma

Well, as quickly as the memes flooded our timelines, so did all the praise and rave reviews upon the surprise release of UNIQUE's debut full-length album, Grandma. Out now under O/C Records, the album features the previously released single “Midnight Sky.”

The release of the album follows the recent announcement of UNIQUE’s The Grandma Tour happening in September.

KARENCITTA | “Luvburn”

Karencitta didn’t take long to follow up the unapologetic, in-your-face “No Apology (Wala Akong Paki)” with another single, determined to make the point that there’s more to her than her viral hit “Cebuana.”

Check out the new single from Karencitta, “Luvburn,” along with its racy visual:

Recommended tracks: for starters, give the singles “R U Aaliyah” and “FNTNL” a listen.

“Still hacking at the center pulse of Filipino strife” and now angrier than ever, long-time local protest metal band Barabbas has dropped a new single. “Pataasan ng Ihi” is an old composition that was re-tracked, finding its way in the present as “commentary on the current Philippine socio-political structure.” The track was recorded and produced by Barabbas and MindPlight Recordings.
